Lehigh District Attorney Issues Warning To Merchants And Customers

Lehigh Valley District Attorney Jim Martin issued a warning on Wednesday about items sold containing hemp or hemp derivative products. He warned that certain products containing more than a strictly limited amount of THC are classified as Schedule I controlled substances according to the Pennsylvania Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, and the possession or distribution of such products is illegal. Violators could ultimately face felony charges and prison time.
