The cost of eggs and chicken is likely to increase even more, after Avian flu has now been confirmed at a fifth location in Lancaster County…. this time it resulted in more than 300,000 birds being euthanized, in addition to the more than 3.5 million chickens that have already been killed at four other Lancaster County poultry farms due to the virus.
