An investigation by the Monroe County District Attorney into a crash that killed a woman on Christmas Day in 2020, has determined that it was caused by the eruption of a gas main. It happened December 25, 2020, around 1:30am in Swiftwater. A passenger in the vehicle, 33-year-old, Ana Abreau died. Investigators said no evidence of criminal negligence was found.
