A man was sentenced to 5 years in prison yesterday, for his part in an armed bank robbery that took place in Monroe County in 2021. 44 year old Michael Muse of Brooklyn, New York previously pled guilty to committing an armed robbery of the ESSA Bank in Middle Smithfield Township. During the robbery, in which he used an air gun that appeared to be a real weapon, Muse stole a little over $9,000.
