Life In Prison Without Parole

Yesterday in the Monroe County Courthouse in Stroudsburg, 35-year-old Lancelot Fortune was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murders of his aunt and uncle back in 2018 in a crime that prosecutors called brutal beyond compare. Sharon and Richard Fells were stabbed to death in their home in Pocono Township.

Pocono Township Fatality

A Tuesday evening single vehicle crash in Monroe County claimed the life of a 73-year-old woman. Nancy Bocchini of East Stroudsburg died when her car crashed into a tree near Hallet Road and Cherry Lane Road in Pocono Township. Bocchini was the only occupant of the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
