The Labor Day weekend is fast approaching, and state and local police are already watching for impaired drivers during the “National Crackdown Impaired Driving Campaign” that started on Wednesday and continues through Monday, September 5th. There is a zero tolerance policy in effect concerning impaired driving.

Enrollment Up At ESU

Yesterday was move in day at East Stroudsburg University. This year, enrollment numbers are up 40 percent compared to last year, with around 1,200 students moving in on-campus. It’s the largest entering class in several years, after ESU saw a decrease in student population during the COVID scare.
