Traffic Stop Yields 318 Pounds of Pot

When State police pulled over a car on I-80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County for a traffic violation, they found 318 pounds of marijuana in it. A 41 year old man from the state of Washington was taken into custody, and he is now facing charges in the Monroe County Correctional Facility.

A Monroe County man was arrested Tuesday morning by state police after he was accused of stabbing his mother. Justin Grimley, of Tobyhanna, is charged with attempted homicide in connection with the incident that took place in Hamilton Township shortly after 6am yesterday.
